The South Carolina Department of Public Health (DPH) is here to help those who live, work, learn or play in the Palmetto State. 

Our hours of operation are 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday - Friday, excluding state holidays. During times of emergency (e.g., hurricane response), we may extend our normal hours of operation.

  • Call 1 (855) 472-3432 to make appointments at a public health clinic near you or to get a health care referral from the Care Line.
  • For all other topics, call (803) 898-3300.
