Each year, the Healthcare/Hospital Preparedness Program sponsors a summit to advance preparedness, communication, and collaboration among community health care organizations, response partners and public health entities.
Summit Objectives:
- Exchange information that supports recovery planning that emphasizes health care system strengthening, coordination and leveraging of resources.
- Enhance the development of community partnerships to plan and advocate for the rebuilding of South Carolina's public health, medical and mental/behavioral health systems.
- Enrich the resiliency in South Carolina communities by developing appropriate recovery plans for health and social systems that can be activated before, during and after a disaster.
