Oral Health is Essential to Overall Health
New research suggests that the health of your mouth mirrors the condition of your body as a whole. For example, when your mouth is healthy, chances are your overall health is good, too. Here at the South Carolina Department of Public Health (DPH), Division of Oral Health (DOH), our mission is to improve the oral and overall health status of all South Carolina residents.
