On October 5, 2017, the Office of Public Health Statistics hosted the 2nd annual DHEC Health Data Symposium. This year's theme was, "Data: The Catalyst for Action". The purpose of the event was to provide examples of how DHEC data has been used to directly impact the health of the citizens of the Palmetto State. This was done via panel and poster presentations. Attendees from SC DHEC, colleges and universities, as well as non-profits and community organizations participated.
