Through the support of DPH, community groups, family, and friends, Camp Burnt Gin is offered to our campers at no charge. Your support helps us make a difference in the lives of our campers and their families.

Although DPH does not actively solicit funds for Camp Burnt Gin, countless parents, campers, organizations, and state agency employees contribute to camp operation through: volunteer activities before, during, and after summer camp season; providing professional services; gifts of regularly-used items; selecting Camp for service projects; and/or monetary donations (check or money order only).

Monetary Donations

Monetary donations will be deposited into a “restricted use” account that is only used for the support of Camp Burnt Gin services. Donations to Camp Burnt Gin are tax deductible; DPH is a charitable organization in compliance with the South Carolina solicitation of Charitable Funds Act (Charitable Public ID #P8111, tax ID #57-6000286).
