Summer 2024 Positions

Cabin Counselor

  • Live with 3-4 other staff members and up to 8 campers with physical disabilities and/or chronic illness. All staff are responsible for the supervision and daily care for campers, which includes assisting with adapting activities to ensure each camper gets the chance to participate.
  • Experience working with children is preferred. Applicants must be at least a high school graduate and/or 18 years or older.

Support Counselor

  • Live with 3-4 other staff members and up to 8 campers with physical disabilities and/or chronic illness. All staff are responsible for the supervision and daily care for campers, which includes assisting with adapting activities to ensure each camper gets the chance to participate.
  • This role has added responsibilities, shared amongst the other support counselors which include assisting kitchen staff, overseeing camp laundry, and janitorial services.
  • Experience working with children is preferred. Applicants must be at least a rising junior in high school and/or 16 years of age.

Activity Specialist Counselor

  • Live with 3-4 other staff members and up to 8 campers with physical disabilities and/or chronic illness. All staff are responsible for the supervision and daily care for campers, which includes assisting with adapting activities to ensure each camper gets the chance to participate.
  • This role has added responsibilities which include planning, teaching, and leading activities in a designated activity area (arts and crafts, fine art, nature, sports and games).
  • Experience working with children is preferred. Applicants must be at least a rising junior in college and/or 20 years of age.

Lifeguard Counselor

  • Live with 3-4 other staff members and up to 8 campers with physical disabilities and/or chronic illness. All staff are responsible for the supervision and daily care for campers, which includes assisting with adapting activities to ensure each camper gets the chance to participate.
  • This role has added responsibilities which include supervising all swimming and boating activities.
  • Experience working with children is preferred. Applicants must possess current Lifeguard Training Certification, American Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers, and standard First Aid Certification.
